Southern Cooking with Island Influence

Southern favorites, thoughtful island flavors, and a genuine welcome.

At Foster's Kitchen, Southern cooking is our foundation, and our home in Hawaiʻi makes it our own. From Cajun shrimp pasta and shrimp and grits to ribs finished with lilikoi BBQ sauce, our menu brings Southern favorites together with thoughtful island influence.

We're locally owned, take pride in our food, and believe a great meal should come with a genuine welcome. Whether you're joining us for lunch, dinner, or cocktails with friends, settle in and make yourself comfortable.

Our Approach: Fresh.Local.Scratch.

Quality ingredients. Careful preparation. Local relationships. We take pride in our scratch cooking, support Hawaiʻi businesses, and source local ingredients whenever possible. Being local means being part of our community, and that commitment goes into the experience we create every day.

Fish & Chips

I love fosters fish and chips. Their gluten free option with separate fryer is a celiacs dream come true. I have eaten this dish many times and feel it's handled safely by the kitchen and the wait staff is knowledgeable. What a joy to eat crispy fries and battered fresh fish like everyone else.

Cobb Salad

I ordered the Blackened Shrimp with Cobb Salad, and tasted my husbands Steak and Shrimp plate. Both were Amazing and the shrimp was so juicy and flavorful! I was unfortunately disappointed with the service we received. But the food was SOO GOOD!

Ribs Half

We always have great food, drinks and service at Fosters. They also have been exceptional at monitoring our food for allergies and intolerance. We always dine at Fosters at least once each visit to the island. Highly recommend!
